Creative Connect is a gathering of Creatives for the purpose of igniting ideas, Discussions towards Understanding and inspiration through Improvisation.
CREATIVE CONNECT BY KRUMP STUDIOS
Creative connect was initiated by Jemima Angulu , inspired by the need to create a safe and inspiring environment where dancers and creatives can come together without the limitations of ethnic backgrounds, societal norms, social class to expression & explore through analysis, discuss & improv and hence be inspired to create something new and collaborate with each other.
Hence ,

1. To foster an atmosphere of creativity
2. To foster an engaging atmosphere for creative knowledge sharing & learning
3. To Enhance & facilitate Creative collaborations and cross cultural / creative relations
• Develop and diversify the Krump Studios audience
• Connect with pre-existing artistic initiatives and community builders
• Enforce our positioning as a central player of the cultural Abuja and Global scene
• Stay up-to-date with the Abuja and Global cultural scene
This Unique social and creative class hosted by Jemima Angulu and produced by Krump Studios is structured to give a platform of expression and education experience for Dancers, Poets , Musician, instrumentalists, writers, photographers,Artistic Directors,Curators, actors, Visual Artists and other creatives; As a physical class, It is a total creative experience segmented into three parts :
- Visual presentation /Talk
- Open floor Discussion & Analysis on subject
- Improvisation sessions ( Attendees get to explore & observe instantaneous collaboration between dance and another form of art). Interested artists who want to challenge themselves an explore the power of collaboration and improv can sign up at entry and be paired with an artist to improvise and in some cases everyone is involved in the improvisation.
The first Edition held on the 26th of January 2019 , The Edition featured a short preview and discuss on the work "Sutra" of Dancer and choreographer ''Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui" and discussions on the Uniqueness of an artist.
We also had the privilege of having with us Igo Diarra (Founder - Galerie Medina) all the way from Mali who came to Connect during his visit To Retro Africa/Atelier Launch, Also present was , Nduwhite Ndubuisi ( Artist & Curator International Institute for Creative Development), Blaize Itodo ( Artist, Documentary Photographer ) , Tersoo Gundu ( Curator , Photographer , Photo Carrefour ) , Isreal Isaac ( Performer , Director) , Williams Gbadamashi ( Dance Administrator & Scholar ) Justine Unanka (Performer) , David Hero (Dance Artist) , Bukunmi Olukitibi (Dancer, Actress), Esther Ekele (Dancer,Choreographer) , Suleiman Ali (Artist,Dancer) , Praise Ayodele( Performer ) and more than 40 other dance artists.

BUILDING AN ONLINE GLOBAL COMMUNITY FOR CREATIVES :
After the Covid 19 OutBreak , Creative Connect Online Editions Began Seeking a Larger online Community and the first online session was held on the 12th of April 2020 featuring an international artist based in Long Island based Artist "FLOEY"
